a long long long time ago, before the internet was for personal use, the prototype websites were all text only in monochrome. this isn't always black and white though. you just have to include only 2 colors. this type of website design would be made for dos based computers. and as such, different computers had different color palates which meant this page would look different on different computers. normally, i would put the back to home button on a corner but because of the lack of layer support, it will be put on the bottom.
